Khartoum polling stations deserted on first day of Sudan vote

Polling stations in the Sudanese capital Khartoum were left empty on the first day of voting for southern independence. Since mid-December some 120, 000 southerners have returned to the south according to the UN's refugee agency. RFI’s Michel Arsenault takes a tour of the polling stations in the Ombadah district in the west of Khartoum where many southerners live to see if he can meet any voters.
