Libya - Photo report
Benghazi, the centre of the Libyan uprising
A photo report from the heart of Benghazi, Libya's second largest city, where the anti-government protests the country started. The city fell three weeks ago into the hands of opponents of leader Moamer Kadhafi, who have since set up a revolutionary committee and put in place a municipal council. On Tuesday leaders said a military council had been formed, made of officers who joined protesters against Kadhafi's rule, who will liaise with similar groups in other cities.
