Being a photographer in a war zone can be a risky business. Two photojournalists on a mission in Libya, Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros, were killed in Misrata in the early stages of the uprising. Another U.S. photojournalist, Katie Orlinsky, arrived in the Libyan rebel stronghold of Benghazi at the start of the uprising and her pictures bear testimony to the hopes and courage of the Libyan people, but also show their pain and sufferring.
