Muslims celebrate Tabaski feast in Senegal

Issued on:

In Senegal the feast of Eid, know as "Tabaski" in the west African country, is a busy and expensive time for families. They need money to purchase new clothes for their children and they need to sacrifice an animal on the day. However this year, Tobaski coincides with the reopening of schools in the country, making it very difficult for households to meet their obligations.
