Tiken Jah Fakoly's message to Africa's leaders

Tiken Jah Fakoly's message to Africa's leaders

The Ivorian reggae star Tiken Jah Fakoly brings out two new singles this week which aim to bring a very pointed message to African leaders. He wants to tell them not to modify their constitutions to stay in power. This is especially relevant given Senegal's up-and-coming presidential election, for which incumbent president Abdoulaye Wade is seeking a controversial third term. The Ivorian musician discussed his new tracks, and the political messages African musicians are giving their leaders.
