Information technology at the heart of Kenya's improving education system

Kenya is on course to achieve the United Nations’ second Millennium Development Goal by attaining universal primary education by 2015. With a net enrolment rate of 93 percent in primary schools, Kenya’s primary education has grown phenomenally in the last decade. At the heart of this growth is Information and Communication Technology, which is greatly enhancing the quality of both primary and secondary education, as RFI discovered in  Taita-Taveta county in the country's coastal region.
