In Uganda, the defense ministry has announced that it will head a new military force to hunt Joseph Kony and the rebel Lord's Resistance Army. This force of 5,000 will add to the 100 Americans already on the ground. The LRA terrorized Gulu in Northern Uganda for years. Gulu residents say nothing was done to help the people there. RFI spoke to one prominent member of Gulu society who speaks out on the new military operation.
