A plan to stave off extinction for Namibia's vital Devil’s Claw medicinal plant

Namibia is the largest exporter of a medicinal plant called Devil’s Claw. It is a source of income for 10 000 mostly poor families. But Devil’s Claw is now threatened with extinction. Gladys Kahaka, a Namibian Scientist, is trying to save the plant by studying its genes in order to grow it on a larger scale.
