Tuareg rebels and Islamists accused of war crimes in north Mali
The US-based NGO, Human Rights Watch, says Tuareg rebels and Islamist groups are committing war crimes in northern Mali. A report accuses them of rape, using child soldiers and pillaging hospitals, schools and government buildings. It says the crimes were committed at the end of March and beginning of April.
