Kenya police benefit from German expertise in fighting crime

A highly-specialized team from Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office, has just spent two-weeks training 24 officers from the Kenya Criminal Investigation Department, CID. The training included Crime Scene Investigation, and modern ways of fighting organized crime and terrorism. Uganda and Tanzania have also benefited from the training. Six other training courses are scheduled to be held in the three countries between now and next year. Nairobi correspondent attended the Nairobi training and filed this report.
