Photojournalist wins award after prison time

Now in its third year, the Carmignac Foundation Photojournalism Award is a grant which allows photojournalists to spend a lengthy period of time in a country in conflict documenting the lives of the people who live there. The 2012 award went to New Zealand photographer Robin Hammond, who spent five months - one of them in prison - photographing the people of Zimbabwe.
