Oil flow resumes between South Sudan and Sudan

Issued on:

Earlier this month, oil started flowing again between South Sudan and Sudan. The flow had been interrupted in early 2012 when Juba shut down production after accusing Khartoum of theft in a row over export fees. At talks in Addis Ababa lin March, the two neighbours finally agreed on a series of detailed timetables to ease tensions, after months of on and off border clashes.
