Zulu at Cannes raises South Africa's cinema hopes

The film closing the 66th Cannes Film Festival after the awards ceremony tonight will be Zulu. It's a US thriller, starring Forrest Whittaker and Orlando Bloom, filmed entirely on location in South Africa. In terms of cinema production South Africa is not just a pretty place. One person at the heart of the South African film industry, Terence Kuhmalo, has been working hard at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
