Thousands of activists across Egypt are expected to demonstrate against President Mohamed Morsi today. Protestors want to mark his first anniversay in office by taking to the streets of Egypt's main cities. Violence has already erupted, claiming the lives of three people since Friday, including a 21-year-old American student. He was killed by a mob in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, after he reportedly took pictures of demonstrators. Protesters also set on fire several offices of the Muslim Brotherhood. RFI spoke to Mohamed al Asqalami, an Egyptian engineer who is planning to join today's demonstrations -- despite the risk of violence.
