In Benin, President Thomas Yayi Boni has appointed a new cabinet following the surprise sacking of his entire government last Friday. Half of the ministers have been replaced and the country no longer has a prime minister. The extensive reshuffle happened while Benin has been gripped by tensions surrounding a suspected attempt to poison the president, who has also announced a controversial constitutional reform. To understand the situation in Cotonou, RFI spoke to André Quenum, the publisher of La Croix, the leading Catholic weekly newspaper in Benin.
