Jordan's Za'atari refugee camp does more than give handouts to Syrian Refugees

Issued on:

More than two million refugees have fled Syria’s bloody civil war, placing a large burden on surrounding countries.  Za’atari refugee camp on the war-torn country’s border with Jordan houses well over 100,000 Syrian refugees. Aid workers are looking to foster an informal economy rather than simply give handouts.
