British Prime Minister Theresa May is to face a vote of no-confidence in her own parilamentary party this evening, after Tory rebels mustered enough letters from Conservative MPs supporting the move. May faces a revolt over her Brexit deal and postponed a vote on it in parliament this week, saying it was clear she would not win majority support for it.

A group of former top military officers from Gambia have formed a new political party, called the National Resistance Movement of the Gambia (NMRG). The group says that it gets its funding from the Gambian people. Alhajie Kanteh, one of the founding members, says that they created their movement to get rid of Gambia's President Yahya Jammeh.
