Lake Victoria is Africa’s most productive freshwater fishery, with export earnings of over 180 million euros. And as well as the lake, marine fishery along Kenya’s Indian Ocean coast provides livelihoods for thousands of people. However, illegal fishing is threatening these livelihoods.
