Most of India's billion-plus people struggle with a public health system that is overburdened in cities and virtually nonexistent in villages. And many do still not have any access to, or cannot afford, the modern healthcare service. However the other end of the spectrum, robotic surgery is gaining popularity and has even crossed some frontiers. Delhi correspondent Murali Krishnan met up with doctors who are offering state-of-the-art treatment for patients and witnessed one such surgery.
