In Morocco successive civilisations and colonisations have left the country with a myriad of different languages that still permeate the population.The majority of people speak more than one language, and across the diverse country different dialects from North Africa and the Middle East are often spoken interchangeably with European languages.In the first of a four-part series on Morocco's Cultural Heritage, RFI’s Nancy Fleming looks at how this nation of linguists came about.
