Access to education gets worse in Zambia

Issued on:

Access to education is a fundamental human right and an important tool in the development of any society. But in Zambia this is becoming a far fetched dream as school fees skyrocket and most parents withdraw their children from school. The poor state of the economy due to low commoddity prices in China has worsened the situation as the local currency has lost more than thirty percent of its value in recent months.
