Black skinned dolls with African hair have now arrived in Senegal. They were the creation of Taofick Okoya, a Nigerian father who created them after realising that the only ones in his house where white and his daughters didn't have any dolls that looked like them. Before then, the only ones available in Senegal were blonde Barbie dolls.
