Albinos fight for their own sunscreen factory in Senegal

Issued on:

In Senegal, the national albino association has made a call for action to implement a sunscreen factory in the country. Seclusion, unemployment, homelessness and skin cancer are just some of the struggles people with albinism face. Apart from creating jobs, sun cream would be made at lower cost than importing foreign brands, and help protect more than 10,000 albinos in the country from the sun and further skin damage.
