The hot springs in Lake Bogoria, Kenya

Issued on:

Lake Bogoria in Kenya has one of the best locations for watching geysers and hot springs in Africa. Because of their high carbon dioxide content, these hot springs boil vigorously and can shoot up to 5 meters high. In this report, correspondent David Bwakali looks at how the springs are being tapped for geothermal power.
