At least 30 people killed in Kano suicide bombing

At least 30 people were killed in a triple suicide bombing in Konduga, northeast Nigeria late Sunday, emergency services reported.

"The death toll from the attack has so far increased to 30. We have over 40 people injured," said Usman Kachalla, head of operations at the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), on Monday.

The earlier death toll was 17 dead and 17 wounded.

Football fans were watching a match on TV when the bombs exploded 38 kilometres outside Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.
