Will Farc and Colombian government agree on peace?

Peace talks between the Colombian government and left-wing Farc rebels were formally launched in Norway yesterday. The two sides have decided that the talks will resume in earnest on 15 November in Cuba. Tens of thousands of people have been killed since the Farc launched its guerrilla war in the 1960s. Analyst Béatrice de Graaf, who has followed the conflict, explains the nature of the organisation and how she thinks the conflict is going to end.
