The race is on between defence forces around the world over to buy unmanned combat aircraft, known as drones. Just last month French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said it was unacceptable that France was not manufacturing drones just after he ordered two from the United States. Drones have become the must-have gadget to help root out insurgents in remote terrains. So aeronautical engineers are pushing the limits of technology to make them smaller and quieter. So how do they do it?
