Issued on:

There's something of a French revival in New Orleans and the state of Louisiana in general, with a resurgence of interest in the Louisiana French languages and culture. Jim Soileau, a proud Cajun, is co-host of the radio show "La Tasse de Café", which is broadcast in Franglais (French and English) on KVPI from the town of Villeplatte, Louisiana. He's been on the air for more than 60 years!
