US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta held talks yesterday with his Indian counterpart, AK Antony on the second day of his visit to India. Discussions focused on Nato's planned combat troops withdrawal from Afghanistan by 2014. The US would like India to play a more active role in the country after it leaves Afghanistan. Shanthie D'Souza, an India/Afghanistan analyst, based in Singapore.
