Ravi Shankar, died Tuesday aged 92, speaks and plays for RFI

The great Indian sitar-player Pandit Ravi Shankar has died after surgery at the age of 92.  Prime Minister Manmohan Singh hailed Shankar as "a national treasure and global ambassador of India's cultural heritage". In 2005 he spoke to RFI's Daniel Brown about his life in music and working with Western musicians such as Stéphane Grapelli and the Beatles.
