Why Pakistan needs Iran pipeline

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has launched a major gas pipeline project with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari. Pakistan suffers from constant electricity shortages and an energy shortfall and needs the pipeline to help turna round its economy. John Roberts, a specialist at the energy information organizaiton Platt's, explains why the pipeline is key for Pakistan's troubled economy.
