Myanmar Muslim Rohingya to be world's most persecuted minorities

The UN considers the 800,000 Muslim Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar to be one of the world's most persecuted minorities. At the heart of that persecution is their lack of any legal status as citizens. The UN has called on the government of Myanmar to review its citizenship law. Violence between Buddhist and Muslim communities has killed almost 200 people since June and forced tens of thousands of Rohingya Muslims to flee their homes. RFI asked an advocate of the rights of the Rohingya people what life is like for them as non-citizens.
