The trial of former Chinese politician Bo Xilai for murder and corruption has ended with prosecutors pushing for a heavy sentence. Bo was once the Communist chief of the south-west Chinese megacity of Chongqing, one of the 25 highest-ranking members of the ruling party and tipped to become a part of China's top political body. A date for the verdict has not yet been announced. China-watcher Michael Dillon a veteran says the trial differs from previous, similar trials involving high-level politicians.
