Karzai visits Delhi ahead of US Afghan withdrawal

Afghan President Hamid Karzai arrived in India on Thursday for a four-day visit. Karzai has long enjoyed close relations with New Delhi, which is keen to ensure the exit of the US-led Nato troops does not trigger a return to power in Kabul of the Taliban and strengthen historic rival Pakistan. Anuradha Chenoy is an Indian observer of the fragile relationship between India, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
