Humanitarian aid in Kurdistan, part 1

Issued on:

The conflict in Iraq and the resulting waves of displacement has resulted in more than 3 million Iraqis forced to flee their homes. But the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate. The United Nations' World Food Program (WFP) and its NGO partners estimate that at least 10 million people are expected to be in need of life-saving assistance by the end of the year. In the first report of a three part series, correspondent Filip Warwick travels to the semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan in northern Iraq to find out more.
