Religion - and Islam in particular - is a touchy subject in France. Two years ago a team based in Bordeaux decided to make a Muslim comedy, producing short comedy sketches dealing with practicing the Muslim faith in France. Today, 18 movies later, their website has received over 14 million hits. But the project has had trouble moving into mainstream television distribution.
