Cannes names films in competition for 2013

Nineteen film directors are in competition at this year's Cannes Film Festival, including the US's Coen brothers and six French directors. The films include Steven Soderbergh's biography of pianist Liberace, which he says studios turned down because if was "too gay", and a juicily titled offering from the controversial Roman Polanski.
