This week’s quiz: On 18 April, Rosslyn Hyams asked you a question about Turkey and the Vatican. That week, Turkey re-called its ambassador from the Vatican, and Rosslyn asked you to send in the name of the ambassador, and the reason Ankara recalled him.
The answer is: Mehmet Pacaci is the name of Turkey’s ambassador to the Vatican. His government recalled him after Pope Francis used the word “genocide” to describe the mass murder of Armenians 100 years ago. Turkey said the term “genocide” does not reflect historical and judicial reality, and that it is inappropriate and one-sided.

Per-Allan Olsson, from Uddevalla, Sweden – one of this week’s winners – was inspired by the program on 18 April, when Rosslyn Hyams had our colleague Fabien Jannic-Cherbonnel on the program. Fabien described his magical trip to Sweden. Per-Allan Olsson wrote: “And since the topic that day was ‘The Beauty of Sweden’, a bonus: a recipe for Swedish ‘Egg-Cheese’, considered a delicacy in some parts of Sweden.
2 liters of regular milk
3 decilitres of cream
6 decilitres of sour cream
10 hen eggs
4 tablespoons of sugar
Mix eggs and sour cream in a big pot. Add all milk and cream. Stir and heat carefully until the mix starts to separate. Turn off the heat and remove the pot from the stove, and let it cool for 10-15 minutes. With a slotted spoon, remove the "cheese" and place it in a fine strainer, placed in another pot. Add the sugar twice, once when the strainer is half-full, and once when it's full. Place the "egg-cheese", still in the strainer-in-a-pot, in a cool place overnight. The next day, place a big plate over the strainer and turn it upside-down. Serve with blackberry jam, or as the real connoisseurs like it, with a bit of salted herring ! Yum !”
