French consumers, hackers, environmentalists all against TAFTA

Issued on:

France, as a member of the European Union, is in negotiations with the United States on a free trade agreement, and not everyone is on board. Details of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, also known as the Transatlantic Free Trade Area (TAFTA), are slowly emerging, and a range of people from across Europe are reacting. In France, environmentalists, hackers and consumer protection groups are all finding themselves on the same side. RFI reports from an anti-TAFTA demonstration to see what brings them together.
