In Malawi hundreds of opposition supporters gathered outside the Lilongwe court house yesterday to protest the arrest of 11 officials, including Peter Mutharika, the ex-president's brother. The 11 are accused of trying to prevent Joyce Banda from assuming power last year. A bail hearing is scheduled for this morning.
