The nurse, who was part of the team that treated another nurse French nurse who was cured of Ebola, was taken to the Begin hospital in Saint-Mandé on Thursday afternoon with a

“suspect fever’, a source told the AFP news agency.

But the first tests proved negative for Ebola, another source said, and medics are waiting for further results.

The woman was reportedly on the team that treated the French nurse who had worked with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Liberia and was cured at the Begin hospital.

Health Minister Marisol Touraine refused to comment on the case on Thursday, repeating her promise to inform the public if a case of Ebola occurs on French territory.

There have been several reports of suspected Ebola cases over the last week, all of them proving to be false alarms.

On Saturday medical staff at Paris’s Charles De Gaulle airport will start taking the temperatures of passengers on the daily flight from the Guinean capital Conakry.
