US's JetBlue orders 35 Airbus jetliners
US low-cost airline JetBlue has ordered 35 planes worth nearly four billion dollars from European aircraft-builder Airbus. The order means that Airbus, in intense competition with the US's Boeing, has 10,000 orders on its books.

JetBlue has ordered 15 A321 Airbuses and 20 A321neos, the company announced Tuesday.
The A321 is the largest of the A320 "family" of Airbus planes and the A321neo is its remotorised version.
The order is worth 3.95 billion dollars (2.9 billion euros) in catalogue prices.
In July Airbus raised its sales target for 2013.
"JetBlue will be the first airline in the world to take delivery of an aircraft from Airbus’ newest assembly facility, currently under construction in Mobile, Alabama," Airbus's statement announcing the deal said.
