In this final stretch of the US presidential election campaign, Hillary Clinton is still the current favourite to win the race to the White House. Donald Trump has alienated many voters over recent weeks. But his core supporters aren’t abandoning their candidate.

But to meet some of the most passionate Trump voters, our correspondent Philip Crowther travelled to Southern Illinois into coal country, which is often dubbed Trump country.
