This week’s quiz: on 8 November, I asked you a question about the largest known star, VY Canis Majoris, (“Big Dog”). You were to send in the name of the constellation to which VY Canis Majoris belongs.
The answer is: Canis Majoris! The red hypergiant star VY Canis Majoris is located in the constellation Canis Majoris.
