New Bosphorus rail tunnel unites Istanbul

A new rail tunnel now unites the two halves of Istanbul - a city divided between two continents for centuries. With an estimated cost ranging between two and three billion euros, the ambitious project has opened to great fanfare with a metro train carrying passengers beneath the Bosphorous Strait in just minutes.
