The French are concerned about the role of credit-rating agencies in a dramatic plunge in the euro currency this week. But some within French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s ruling UMP party don’t think an enquiry into the matter will yield any results especially when countries across Europe are borrowing money from the markets.
