Le Monde, one of France's most prestigious newspapers, has announced that it plans to sue the government. The newspaper accuses the Elysée of spying on its journalists to uncover anonymous sources in the Bettencourt-Woerth affair. Le Monde had published an article in July that directly linked the Labour Minister Eric Woerth to a series of scandals.
