Apart from Japan, France is home to the most centenarians in the world. There are over 20,000 people today who are over the age of 100, with memories that span all the main historical moments of the 20th century. Their ranks grew by at least one this month, after a Parisian woman was honoured this week with a medal from the city. RFI met her, and shared some of her memories.
