Paris restaurant creates 600g Zlatan burger

A Paris restaurant has put a burger called le Zlatan on its menu as a tribute to the Paris St Germain striker. With 600 grammes of meat and three kinds of cheese, it is as exceptional a burger as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a player, according to the restaurant's owner, Jean-Philippe Grandin.

The Zlatan has gathered no-doubt welcome attention from media in France and abroad, including in the player's homeland, Sweden, since it hit the internet in the middle of last month.

Ibrahimovic has yet to visit Doddy's Coffee (motto - "Burger is good !!!"), the American restaurant in the Paris suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt, but Grandin, an ardent PSG fan, hopes he will but "after a match not before", as he told Le Monde's website.

As well as 600 grammes of beef, the burger contains:

  • A special bun baked by a local baker;
  • Onions;
  • Relish;
  • Bacon;
  • Salad;
  • Tomato;
  • Gherkins;
  • Cheddar cheese;
  • Emmental cheese;
  • Bleu d'Auvergne cheese.

The blue cheese was included because it has "character, like Ibrahimovic", Grandin told Le Parisien newspaper.

The restaurant's menu recommends that customers share the burger between two or more people, claiming that "even Chuck Norris couldn't fit it in his mouth".
