British judge orders Assange's extradition
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange can be extradited to Sweden to face rape and sexual assault allegations, a British judge ruled Thursday. Assange will appeal against the decision, his lawyers say.

"I must order that Mr Assange be extradited to Sweden," judge Howard Riddle said at Belmarsh Magistrates Court in southeast London.
He is wanted for questioning over allegations by two Swedish women, but his lawyers have argued he could face reextradition to the United States if he is sent to Sweden.
Assange's supporters say the case is politically motivated, after Assange's WikiLeaks website released 250,000 US diplomatic cables.
